10/08/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I don’t know about you, but I always think about a Chevy as being the All American car…so what a fitting name for our All American little girl! Her sleek lines, good grooming, gorgeous face, and loving personality fits the profile perfectly. Her tan coat is soft and silky to the touch, her amber eyes large and beautiful, and her tail wags gently as we walk. Wagging her tail at passing dogs, when I tether her for photos she shows me her perfect sit, takes treats softly, and loved watching all the squirrels watching us! No pulling, just watching. Chevy was surrendered to our care by someone who had received her as a gift (my editorial comment – animals are not gifts!). We’re told she played well with a 1 and 5 year old child, doesn’t guard her things, is “very” housetrained (check), is “super friendly” with strangers, loves toys and “loves kisses”. Chevy enjoyed her playdate, greeting politely, engaging in play and correcting when mounted. Chevy is an absolute delight, ready to find a new family to love and play with and she’s hoping she doesn’t have to wait long. We’re rooting for her so come meet her today.
