WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: My eyes spotted Chester right away as he was brought up inside the care center by the driver. He reminded me of my long gone elderly Chihuahua I loved so much. Chester looked so scared and needy . His eyes were big with fear and so cloudy .Once in a kennel, i fed him little piece of chicken and petted his head. He seemed to relax a little and came forward for more petting and treats… I came back for him two days later. Although still quite timid, Chester was a little bit more valiant, got up from his very comfy bed and off we went for a walk after a stop in my arms.. He did his business without marking and trotted nicely around the block. He did not look tired anymore or fearful…Chester was found abandoned in an empty apartment with a little friend. It could be that his owners were evicted…He is not skinny or unhealthy but we are told that he was not living in the best conditions…Well, a magic wand can change all this around and brighten up Chester’s world and life. This magic wand has a name…”You”. Yes, Chester is waiting for You at the Manhattan Care Center.
