04/28/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/28/16 10:21 Chase is a young male american pit bull terrier mix. He was found tethered outside and was brought to ACC by the police. Police said he was friendly with them. Chase was sniffing and walking around the office. Chase jumped in to the police officer’s lap and was crying when they left. He tolerated scanning( -) him but he retreated with we started to collar him. When he got a treat he allowed us to put the collar on him. Chase wagged his tail and urinated when we started talking to him. Chase jump at us and received treats from us very gently. Chase while he was on the leash did not pull and sat when he was not walking around.
04/30/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writres: We are CRAZY IN LOVE. But let us begin from the beginning, and you may want to sit down before you read this: Chase was brought in as a stray by a policeman. Chase proceeded to sit on that policeman’s lap in the admissions lobby the entire time he was waiting to be admitted to the shelter, and when the policeman left, Chase cried. We’re betting the policeman cried, too, because leaving this boy behind is a heartbreaker. He is ALL LOVE. Gentle and kind, he is also a laugh riot. He play bows incessantly with other dogs. And when his walker doesn’t pay enough attention to him for a moment, he play bows to him or her as well. “Play with me!” “Play with me!” How can we resist? How can you? This lean, lanky lad appears to be house trained, he’s an angel boy on a leash, and he has a wrinkled forehead that makes everyone around him coo. Please, no more crying for Chase–only laps, loves, and playtime. What a gem of a family dog!
