I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 11/28/2016 from NY 10029, owner surrender reason stated was MOVE2NYCHA.

11/28/16 18:44 Basic information Chance is a 6 year old shitzu mixed with poodle who is unaltered male. He is being surrendered due to Owner moving and unable to keep him. There are no injuries or health problems owner is aware of. socialization Around strangers he is shy for a few minutes but warms up after a while.he lived with a newborn and a 7 year old. he plays exuberant with both children and adults. he has not lived with other dogs or spent time with in dog parks. He lived with a 3 year old cat and was relaxed with the cat. There is no bite history of a person or animal. Behavior Client stated that there is no behavior issues. He isnt bothered with storms or fireworks. He growld and barks if you touch his food bowl while he is eating. Takin abone is unkown. Taking a toy away he growls. he barks when he isbeing restraint. He is friendly with dog baths. Brushing of coat is unkown and trimmming of nails is unkown. He barks with unfamilar approaches. for the new family to know Client stated he is friendly, playful, and excitable. his activity level is highand and loves playing with bones. He plays tug and was kept mostly indoors. he eats dry food. He is very house trained and rarely has accidents. He has bnot been crate trained or access to yard. He knows sit and down. he likes long leash walks and pulls very hard on leash. Owner has never had him off leash Behavior upon intake during intake chance snapped and gorwled when counselor went to collar. Counselor could not collar.
