ABD: Caudal abdomen eyrethma/pyoderma, Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: Suspect Intact. Matting covering abdomen. MSI: Marked matting on hair below eyes, pectorals, abdomen and urogential region; Paresis (lying on side alot/lateral), Maggots (myiasis) seen on matted hair over urogenital region, Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat. Overgrown nails; CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Rectal: externally normal; Assessment; 1) Severe Matting; 2) Myiasis ; 3) Tachypnea – Panting (Painful?); 4) Paresis – Painful?; 5) Dental disease; Prognosis: Fair; Plan: + Analgesia – 1ml Onsior SQ SID for 3 days, 1ml Buprenorphne IM BID for 24 hrs + Capstar treatment Once only  + Sedated groom to remove matts  + Convenia 1ml SQ Once only ; SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to age
