09/12/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/12/17 13:47 Basic Information: Cecil is a male, brown brindle and white large breed dog who’s estimated around 7 years old. He was found in front of his finder’s apartment building but she couldn’t keep him for herself due to her personal problems and already has a large breed dog of her own. Behavior During Intake: Cecil had a loose body and mouth open. He was sniffing around all throughout the lobby. When walking up to him he slightly jumped up to greet me and gently licked me. He allowed me to collar him and take a picture of him. I gave him a treat and he took treats gently from my hand.
09/13/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Cecil the Entertainer may not sound exactly right, but it absolutely would be. Whether it’s a case of the Mondays, a bout with the ho-hums, or a dip through the dreary doldrums, 7 year-old Cecil has exactly what you need to flip that frown upside down, and wake up forever happy and ready to take on each day. Puppy dog eyes? Check. Cecil could melt even the coldest of hearts with those warm, gorgeous peepers. Good luck refusing him anything once he turns on his practiced charms. How about a pouty lip? Check, check. Cecil’s clearly perfected the perfect pout over the years, and now has a Grade A kisser (more on that later). And lastly, wouldn’t a stellar smile be something to sing about? Maybe one with a few missing “teefs” that only make it ten times more enchanting? Well check, check, check! Cecil’s got you covered there as well, with a grin that takes up his entire perfect face and is terribly infectious (not that you’d ever want a cure). Now let’s get back to that kisser as kisses will be taking up much of your days when your new life begins with Cecil. A 61 pound snuggle muffin, a professional cuddler, a seasoned hugger, Cecil is happiest when laying across your lap or even better held tight in your arms. So ready yourself to be not only wholly entertained but perpetually smiling, full of happiness, and very deeply loved. Ready? Alright. Now it’s time to meet your new best friend. Come and see Cecil today. Cecil is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC.
