A volunteer writes: Casper the friendly dog, the friendliest dog you’ll know. When I hear the sound of a tail thrashing against a kennel, it usually means we have a happy dog here. And one look towards this sound, I see nothing but excitement looking for my attention. Casper is super friendly, and is a big licker and kisser towards all people. Casper was a little excited when he first came out of his kennel, but then settled down for some backyard loving. Casper didn’t have any issues going up to staff members and volunteers in the yard, and greeting them with love and wet kisses. Casper was born to love, and he hasn’t forgotten how to do that one bit. Please come down to the care center, and see this brindle bundle of joy.

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email helpdogs@urgentpodr.org. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process.
* We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
