01/29/2016 WEB MEMO
Casha is a gorgeous lady that is just waiting for the perfect family to come sweep her off her feet. Come on down to the Brooklyn care center to meet her and see if she a fit! A volunteer writes: Casha is a very special, petite brindle girl. She was surrendered by her elderly owner, who describes her as “friendly, obedient and affectionate.” And is she ever! She has been incredibly sweet and mild-mannered with me. She is easy on leash and quick to relieve herself outside. She absolutely LOVES treats and once she knows she’ll get one for sitting, she turns into an extremely focused little cadet! She is very attentive and seems to know when it’s appropriate to let loose, revealing her very affectionate and playful side. In between bouts of gently propping her paws up on me to soak up petting, she’ll do adorable play bows. She has such soulful eyes and it’s impossible not to fall for her and her gentle ways. Please come see for yourself at Brooklyn ACC!
01/19/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Casha previously lived with one adult and one teenager. The owner stated Casha is partially house trained, has a low activity level and well behaved when home alone. The owner describes Casha as friendly, obedient and affectionate. At intake it was reported Casha was friendly with loose body posture, she allowed all handling. During SAFER Casha came into the assessment room calm and relaxed, she was friendly and social towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Casha joins the game during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Casha was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Casha appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels she can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted.
