12/12/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/12/16 15:11 Basic Info: Cash A1099461 is a 5mth old male silver and white AMPBT who was bought from someone selling puppies 4mths ago and is being surrendered due to him “being too wild” and a new baby coming soon. Cash was last seen by a veterinarian 3months ago and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Cash is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He’s lived with a 4yr old child and was friendly, affectionate, playful and exuberant with them and with the adults in the home. While out on walks he wants to meet dogs he sees (he hasn’t lived with other animals). Cash hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Cash isn’t fully housebroken and will chews on items around the home at times (no behavior correction/modification has been attempted). He isn’t bothered by the following: having his food/food bowl touched/moved or being brushed/bathed. The following hasn’t been done: having his toy/object taken away/moved, being restrained or being disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: Cash is described as very playful, affectionate, friendly and exuberant with a high-very high activity level. He’s mostly an indoor only dog who’s walked 1-2x a day (sometimes) and eats dry Pedigree food 2x a day. He enjoys ball, squeaky/stuffed toys and knows “sit” that he doesn’t always listen to. When left alone he’s well behaved as long as you give him toys to keep him busy but he will bark a lot. Intake Behavior: Cash allowed all handling, had a super loose wiggly body and was barking/whining and had high energy. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of which took us several tries. Cash seemed to enjoy being picked up/held, sat on my lap and gave hugs and kisses. He was placed into a kennel after several minutes due to him not wanting to go or stay in. He’s super quick and will run out even if he spots a tiny opening in the kennel.
12/17/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Cash is Mr 100,000 volts! A beautiful young man so well designed and dressed, so well cared for. Cash is very welcoming in his kennel. Freedom and company is what a youngster loves! He is quite good on the leash and even eliminates on the way. Cash does sit on command, treats or no treats and comes right away when called. He will jump on the bench if requested. In playgroups with his peers, he enjoys himself like puppies usually do. Cash is very high energy and expresses his enthusiasm to meet people by barking a lot at them and relaxing only when they pay attention to him or handle him. He will definitively need some training in his meet and greet skills with our kind. This said, Cash is a very handsome pup, only five months of age, friendly, good with dogs, quite energetic and ready to move in with you, his new master and teacher, as your forever best friend.
