03/11/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Cardamon was difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth, growling. Once he was removed from his kennel Cardamon is fearful of the shelter environment he walks with a low and fearful body language. A SAFER is not appropriate for both staff safety considerations and the likelihood that the assessment will not be predictive in the way it is designed to be. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home.
