Allowed physical examination  P = 132 R = pant BCS 7/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Unable to perform due to muzzle, when panting- mm pink PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Neutered male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, areas of coat thinning along flank, saliva staning paws x 4 CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Overweight Plan: Recommend weight loss, Benadryl 25 mg – 5 tablets PO BID x 10 days for potential allergies Prognosis: Excellent
