My name is CANDY. My Animal ID # is A1082054.
I am a female tan and white beagle and chihuahua sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/21/2016 from NY 11374, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

07/22/2016 Exam Type VACCINATE – Medical Rating is 1 – NORMAL , Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 20.8 LBS.

07/24/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Candy came into our center as a stray so behaviors in the home are unknown. She was fearful upon intake and allowed minimal handling. She walked nervously into the SAFER assessment room, drooling with her tail tucked. Candy froze and tried to bite during Look item, therefore remaining tactile items were skipped. She showed minimal interest in Toy, sniffing before turning away. When off leash with other dogs is a little nervous with her tail tucked. She wanders the yard, mostly keeping to herself. Candy must be placed with a New Hope partner. 5. Dog freezes and tries to bite. Toy 1. Minimal interest. Dog smells, licks and mouths, then walks away. Dog-dog: When off leash with other dogs is a little nervous with her tail tucked. She wanders the yard, mostly keeping to herself.
