Her Foster Writes:
Candle is a very loving dog who loves belly rubs and not annoyed with kisses on the cheek or a loosely hug. Listen to couple of commands like come, sit, stay, walk. She is very disciplined not to get on bed or sofa. Knows to just stay when we are eating and not get on table. Candle also learned to wait until I finished placing her food in the bowl and walk away before she eats. Candle is very attached to people and follows us around in the house. She is a very good companion. She is house trained for the most part, only sometimes pees uncontrollably when she is excited us caused by her young age . She never bites or snaps. She is very easy to handle when giving her a bath in the bath tub. She allows us to wipe clean her paws or to put on dog booties or harness for walks. She tries to give comfort to our kids age 5 and 8 when she see that they are upset by gently nudging her nose at them. Candle is crate trained for bedtime and when we are out and no one is home. Candle is very calm at home but enjoy outdoor very much. Loves fruits, peanut butter, and sweet potatoes. Quick learner.
Very alert and over excited when she sees feral cats, squirrels and other dogs. Candle shows no aggression but has tense alert pose when first meeting new dogs. Friendly to people. Some pulling on the leash.
