Candence
Hello, my name is Candence. My animal id is #9584. I am a female brown dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks i am about 1 years old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 12-Oct-2017.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: A gorgeous, sleek and elegant redhead, Miss Candy (I give all my friends a nickname) is a delight to spend time with. And this nickname is particularly suitable because she’s as sweet as! Lovely leash manners, gentle kisses and a soft and thoughtful face will win your heart, as it did mine. Candy is likely housetrained, and after our walk, we came into the backyard for play and snuggle time. Joining me on the bench, Candy loves to be massaged, and nudges my hand for more. Her coat is so soft and beautiful, it’s absolutely my pleasure! Her tail is always gently wagging, her face in repose makes you wonder what she’s thinking about, and her soft kisses will make you fall in love. My camera seems to scare her, as she gives me wide berth when I have it in my hands, so while I wish I had more photos to share, you can see how beautiful and sweet she is with just a handful. Petite, sweet (like candy), affectionate and adorable, her inner self is yearning for a person to love and play with. Come meet our gorgeous redhead today!
Candence is at risk due to CIRDC.
