09/06/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/06/17 19:28 Camila is a medium grey and white female dog. She came to the center as a stray. During intake, she kept her body loose and wiggly and allowed to be collared and scanned. In the office, she would jump up on her hind legs to observe counselor write and type. She allowed to be leashed with no change in body posture.
09/16/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Camila is so eager to be out and about that she makes sure everyone passing her kennel knows it. Once she is outdoors, this seemingly high-strung girl gets all sweet and gooey, and is just a good natured bundle all around. She is eager to please and very food-motivated, so would probably be fun to train and would learn quickly. Though Camila is middle-aged, she acts and moves like a far younger pup, without needing training in the housebreaking department (her kennel is always spic and span). She will bring plenty of joy to any home lucky enough to have her. Meet Camila in Brooklyn today!

The Behavior Department recommends that Camila be placed in a home with resident dogs that are respectful and tolerant and match her calm sociability. INTAKE BEHAVIOR 9/6/17: Upon intake Camila was loose and wiggly, she allowed all handling. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 9/7/17: During her medical examination, Camila was attention seeking and allowed all handling. ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Camila so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. However, she is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep her engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct her energy and enthusiasm. RECOMMENDATIONS: Average (suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience)
