Medical Summary BAR, nervous, towel over head for handling, think mostly because painful and nervous Unable to scan, scanner not working Limited exam due to temperment/pain Clear OU, no obvious debris AU, nndc OP not examined PLN not examine H/L reg, no murmur, ssp, lungs clear/eupenic, no coughing or sneezing ABD not examined MSK amb x 3, missing metacarpals and down left forelimb (LFL) paw, wound on caudal aspect of carpus with mild active discharge but likely a few days old, seems very painful when tries to put it down, a lot of laxity in carpus Integ wnl BCS 5/9 UG m/i, smooth and symmetrical testes Neuro a/a A:Missing paw LFL Laxity in carpus Wound left carpus P:Sedate for x-rays of LFL and wound explore (clip, clean, +/- drain) Pain medication and antibiotics Do full physical and vaccines, hwt when under sedation Keep in medical for monitoring Prognosis good for wound, will never have full use of LFL, may need further amputation Good prognosis for life, poor prognosis for left forelimb
