A volunteer writes: I think my love for butter the edible (which is a lot of love) has just been dwarfed by my love for Butter the dog! Oh my goodness, what a pint sized sweetheart! She’s walked very nicely on leash when we’ve gone out and seems housebroken. She looks up frequently at me and whenever I talk to her she unleashes an unparalleled, fast-paced wiggle. When I go to pet her she almost instantaneously flops over on her back (I’m not even sure what comes first, my touch or the flop over). Really, it’s like she has an invisible belly rub button that’s constantly being triggered — this girl could set a record for the most consecutive belly rubs in a given amount of time. She literally melts, briefly solidifies, then melts again! When she has all fours on the ground she’s very playful and bouncy. She’s been very eager to play (in the “rough and rowdy” style) with other dogs in our playgroups, but might need to work on knowing when the other dog is ready for a break. Butter is a DELIGHT and would love to meet you at Brooklyn ACC…I’m sure it won’t take long for you to activate that belly rub button!
