SEPT 2016
Bunker is a 2 year old, male, Beagle. He was adopted from ACC on 7/2/16 but returned because of his health. Then last time he went to the vet was 8/30/16 and he has no known injuries but is nauseas.
Socialization:
Around strangers Bunker is friendly and outgoing and exuberant when he played with adults. He spent time with children ages 5 to teen and with them, he was relaxed and playful and exuberant at play.
Behavior:
Bunker has never attempted to bite a person or animal. He isn’t bothered by storms or loud noises. He isn’t bothered if a treat or toy is taken from him or if he is pushed off furniture. He is friendly if he is held or restrained. He isn’t bothered if he is disturbed while sleeping. He tolerated baths but tried to get away. He isn’t bothered if he’s brushed or if his paws are touched. He is friendly if an unfamiliar person approached his home or previous owner.
For a New Family to know:
Bunker is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, pushy and excitable with a high activity level. The things his previous owner liked most about him were; he’s friendly, excitable and playful. When his previous owners were home he would follow them around. He liked to play with chew toys. He was kept indoors only and at night he slept in his dog bed. He ate plain rice because of his nausea. He is not house trained and had accidents daily. At night he chewed house plants and anything left out. He knows the cues sit, and wait.
Behavior during intake:
Bunker had a wagging taill and wiggly body. He allowed me to pet him collar him and was playful. He showed no signs of aggression.
