I am a male gray and white am pit bull ter mix. The shelter thinks I am about 1 YEAR 4 MONTHS old.
I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 03/30/2016 from NY 10468, owner surrender reason stated was LLORDPRIVA.

03/30/16 12:33 BASIC INFO Bundles A1068889 is an approximately 1 year, 3 month old American Pitbull Terrier Mix. The owner received him as a gift from family 6 months ago. The main reason for surrender is that the owner is moving to a place where pets are not allowed. Bundles does not have any health concerns. SOCIALIZATION Bundles is friendly towards strangers. He plays gentle with adults and children. Bundles does get along with smaller dogs. He plays with a neighbor’s small chihuahuas. Bundles has never bitten anyone. BEHAVIOR Bundles does not have any behavior issues. During storms he is not afraid. He allows you to take away his food bowl, water bowl, or toy away. He does struggle when you try to bathe him, but allows you to. If an unfamiliar approaches the doorway, he barks. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Bundles is best described as friendly, affectionate and playful. He has a high activity level. At home, he follows you around. He loves to play with ropes tug of war. He has been kept mostly indoors. He eats Pedigree dry food of which he is fed twice a day. He sleeps on the bed with a teenager. He listens to the command sit. For exercise he is taken to the park to be walked on the leash. He usually goes potty on dirt. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Bundles allowed all handling, collaring and photos.

04/02/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Bundles walk calmly on leash. He was a bit shy when he meets the assessor but he warm up quickly. During the assessment he had a soft body, low wagging tail, open mouth. Bundles was not sociable, and was more interested in the surroundings than the handler during the assessment. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Bundles was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. He was not interested in toys. Bundles was surrender to us. According to his previous owner he is friendly, affectionate and playful. Bundles does get along with smaller dogs. He plays with a neighbor’s small chihuahuas. He has a high activity level. He allows you to take away his food bowl, water bowl, or toy away”. Bundles did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. No interest. Playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs, Bundles initially ignores greeting and cautiously explores the pen, body a bit tense. After some time, he does briefly approach to sniff the female greeter dog.

Bundles was cautious during intial off-leash greeting, though over time has become comfortable approaching and offering brief greeting. His previous owner cites that ” Bundles does get along with smaller dogs. He plays with a neighbor’s small chihuahuas”. He has not yet been introduced to a male dog in our care. The behavior department recommends a pre-adoption interaction before placing Bundles into a home with a resident dog. When off leash with other dogs, Bundles initially ignores greeting and cautiously explores the pen, body a bit tense. After some time, he does briefly approach to sniff the female greeter dog. 4/5 update: Bundles is polite when greeting, then keeps to himself.
