10/11/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/11/16 15:51 Upon ntake Bully was very excited. He was sniffing around and jumping playfully on the counselor. He accepted the treats that were offered to him and allowed all handling. As per the client he oly had the dog in his home for 2 weeks, but during that time he was in th4e hom with only 1 adult and no children. There were no other animals around. He was walked fed and played with and was a joy to have around. When Bully needs to go out he cries at the door. He did not have any accidents in the house while he was there. Client stated that hBully gets walked twice a day. While he’s out he walk easily on the leash. He is not reactive to other dogs. If he is approached bu one he only sniffs the other dog but does not bark or lunge. When he sees cats he barks but does not attempt to chase them. He has a tennis ball that he loves to play with. He will play fetch all day if you let him. He also plays with a chew bone. He eats dry dog food and loves treats. He folows you aound the house but listens when you tell him to sit or stay. He has been left in the house alone for about 3 hours at a time and is very well behaved. He does not destroy any furniture at all. In the past 2 weeks Bully has not shown any signs of agression.
10/18/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Sully was described by the person that brought him in as as a “joy to have around” and I am here to echo that sentiment…and maybe put some exclamation points at the end, make JOY bold, and doodle some hearts all around. What a sweet little man!! When he first arrived he looked very bashful in his cage (he’d often hang out in the front corner behind his cage cover…a hidden treasure!) and was a tiny bit shy for a minute or so with me, but quickly revealed his wiggly, loving, fun nature. He is easy on leash, seems housebroken and loves treats (he already knows “sit” and “paw.”). He looks like he has some allergies and, being an itchy little guy, he’s more than happy to accept help scratching those itches! He does the limbo when I pet him and will flop on his back to do his part while I scratch his belly — adorable! Of course I think even if he weren’t itchy Sully would love to be pet — he’s very cuddly and affectionate: he props his little leggies on my lap, gives kisses and is very waggy when I talk to him. In his last home he loved to play fetch, was well-behaved when left alone, and loved to follow his person around the house. Please come to Brooklyn ACC, fall in love with Sully, and leave with best (and most adorable!!) shadow ever!
