A volunteer writes: Part of a behavior assessment is what we call ‘squeeze’, what does a dog do when you pick up his paw? What did Bueller do? He pulled back his paw and then rolled over for a belly rub!! That is just seriously the most adorable thing I’ve ever heard. So, not only does this gorgeous guy seem to be housetrained, he’s good on leash with a few bounces for happy good measure ( a passerby even commented on how happy he seems), he knows ‘sit’, takes treats gently, play bowed to a dog we passed in the street, played with a toy in the pen just tossing it around, and lies in my lap for some cuddles. He’s an awesome dog!! Bueller enjoys sniffing all the good scents in our pen, greets other dogs in group with a low wiggly body and fast wagging tail, and was a total wiggle butt when I came to get him in his kennel for our walk. As I sat to take some notes he sat at my
feet, pressed against my legs…so gentle, so quiet. Bueller is GQ gorgeous inside and out and waiting to find his new home. If you remember the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Bueller’s name was called multiple times because he was absent. I’m waiting for the day, which is hopefully soon, where I call Bueller’s name and I find his kennel empty, because he’s gone home with you, his new person. He’s amazing and waiting to prove it to you.
