Medical Summary 04/20/16 10:37 Scan : negative Sex: female Approx 2yr S/O: BAR, clean ears. Teeth have mild tartar, fully erupted, mild wear. Gum are pale pink, CRT <2s. Gums tacky. Cardiothoracic auscultation WNL. Severe generalized muscle wasting, emaciated, BCS 1.9. Severely dehydrated Administered 100ml SQ LRS PCV/TS: 39%/9.4 – suspect hemoconcentration due to dehydration. BG 101 – WNL A: Emaciated, anemic, dehydration. Presumptive malnourishment, suspect parasite burden P: Will continue panacur x 2 more days, recommend monthy retreatment x 3 days for 3 months. Repeat SQ LRS tonight, recheck tomorrow. Will feed very small meals throughout the day and monitor weight gain daily. Consider recheck PCV/TS and fecal analysis. PROGNOSIS: Good w/ improved nutrition and housing. Fair-poor if condition is a result of underlying disease not related to malnourishment
