11/09/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/09/16 11:54 Bruno is a 7 year old male large breed dog. He was brought to ACC by a relative. His family didn’t provide information about him. He has dry, pink skin with missing fur all over his body with some scabs. Bruno lied or stood near us. He wagges his tail while we talked to him. He was soft-bodied while we pet him, scanned him (-), collared him, and took his pictures. He sometimes stretched or bent his torso while we scratched and pet him.
11/12/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I lost my heart yesterday. Oh wait, there it is, Bruno has it! This gorgeous fellow with the strong (Great Dane ancestry?) but soft face is a love. Quiet in his kennel, ready to step out as soon as I leash him, going potty was his priority, and then we’re off to the park. I stopped to talk to a staffer for a moment and Bruno waited patiently by my side, and even kissed my hand as he waited. He’s gentle and awesome and his only vice in the park was wanting to chase some birds. Birds-1, Bruno-0. He takes treats super gently and sat once, although I may not speak his language for more sits. Posing for pictures like a pro with soft eye contact and a head tilt when I make kissy sounds at him, he’s already won the hearts of staff and volunteers who have met him. Gentle, kind, soft, affectionate and such a gentleman, he’s waiting for his retirement home. His needs will be easy, nice walks, kisses and hugs, good nutritious food, a soft bed for naps…the rewards for the person providing all of that — priceless. Another volunteer writes: Are you ready to be swept off your feet? Your heart stolen? Rendered speechless by the awesomeness of Sir Bruno? Are you ready to read the many amazing comments written by volunteers who have walked and spent time with him? In a nutshell, all the comments begin and end with “GREAT DOG”. Quietly waiting in his kennel, Bruno comes forward to be leashed, goes potty the moment we’re outside, sits when asked, softly takes treats, and is the gentlest, kindest, softest, nicest, best dog on the planet. I’m a bit biased as you see, but don’t take my word for it, come meet him yourself, and I know you won’t want to leave without him.
