A volunteer writes: This is how Bruno’s DoggieMatch.com ad will read: I’m a proven family dog having lived well with children between the ages of 10 months to 8 years. I’m happy to share my things, believe in good grooming so don’t mind baths, love to play with toys, am housetrained, well behaved when left home alone, and know ‘sit’ and ‘stay’. I’m active and fun, affectionate, great on leash, love sniffing new things, and loved my game of tug with a new friend. I’ve been told I’m elegant and stylish with runway model long legs, but you’ll want to play with my schmushy jowls and that’s OK! My previous family no longer had time for me but I promise you won’t be rebound love – I’ll love you no matter what and just for you. I’m OK with another canine, and I’m told I’m equal parts play, equal parts love. So, let’s meet as I believe we’re destined to be together forever and ever.
Another volunteer writes: If we are judged by the company we keep, then you are going to look like the snazziest, smartest, coolest, kindest person in the entire world having this gem of a dog by your side. With his contagious kindness and calm, Bruno turns even the most stressful moment around in a matter of minutes, trotting by his walker’s side and then placing his head in your lap, not moving it until it’s sadly finally time to go. Time spent with Bruno is so special, he’s one of those dogs where other volunteers yell across the street at each other, “Is that Bruno??? LOVE HIM!!!!!” This dog will change your life and fill it to the seams with love. Not to mention make you look so, so smart for coming down to MACC and rescuing him!
Another volunteer writes: There are dogs, and then there are Rockstars. Bruno falls under the Rockstar category, the dog you keep thinking about long after you’ve gone home, the dog you wish could be yours, the dog who while you are so hoping got adopted, you look forward to spending time with again. Just ask any staff or volunteer about Bruno and he/she will touch their heart, and say, “I LOVE BRUNO”. He’s perfect in every way, gorgeous, well behaved, good on leash, housetrained, lived with kids, friendly, playful, respectful, affectionate, gentle and I could go on and on. Those of us that know him know how unbelievably lucky someone is going to be. Run, don’t walk and ask to meet our Bruno. You deserve it.

A volunteer writes:
In his handsome black and white coat and wagging tail, Bruno presents perfectly. It’s clear he’s ready to go out for a walk and when he peed a river I understood why! The person who found Bruno told us that Bruno is housebroken, and indeed he seems to be. We’re also told that Bruno gets along with all people, including children, and knows ‘sit’. Bruno has a great energy, playful, fun and friendly. He pulls on the leash in his enthusiasm, and will benefit from some leash training. As we walk he greets dogs of all sizes with an appropriate nod and wave of his tail as we walk by and it’s clear he’s like a play date. Posing perfectly and looking like a supermodel, he doesn’t mind being tethered for photos, and keeps an eye on the treat in my hand. Affectionate and sweet, Bruno joined me on the park bench for some snuggles before we made our way back to the building. He’s hoping an active family will come meet him and invite him home. How lucky that family will be!
