Medical Summary; scan negative; bar; friendly, very gentle; corneas show signs of historical scarring, but dog appears fully visual, irregular surface little opacity; needs management at regular veterinarian for possible breed-related ocular disease; dentition suggests younger age than reported (12); possible dental care in history or younger dog (5-10 years?); haircoat very overgrown and needs grooming; some dermatitis around eyes; some waxy buildup in ears- canal haired- needs maintenance; ambulatory; no pain on abdominal palpation; male neutered

Brownie A1103411 is a 12 year old neutered Shih tzu that was surrendered due to personal problems. Brownie was bred at home. Brownie has never suffered any health issues or injuries.
Socialization
Brownie is overall good with all people. Around strangers brownie is friendly and outing. Brownie loves to play and run with anyone around. Brownie has also spent a lot of time with dogs. Around dogs brownie is very affectionate and playful. He loves wrestling with large dogs for fun. Brownie has also spent time with children of all ages. Brownie is very affectionate with all children. He has no prior interactions with cats.
Behavior
Brownie has never bitten anyone or animal. Brownie isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up or held, being brushed or groomed, having his food touched or taken away, loud noises or sudden movements. Brownie is fully house trained and rarely has accidents inside the home. Brownie only plays with toys when someone else is playing with it.
For a new family to know
Brownie would be great in any home setting. Brownie was fed both wet and dry separately 2 times a day. He indoor only. Brownie usually sleeps in his dog bed located in the living room. Brownie walked off leash most of the time.
Upon intake
Brownie was alert and active upon intake. Brownie allowed all handling.
