Medical Summary DVM Intake Exam Castrated male Estimated age: 3 years Microchip noted on Intake? Positive 028579115 History : Stray dog. Had an owner. Had matted hair before. Currently in hold.Had been merge between A1108331 Bologna and A1107820 Brando Subjective: Castrated male , underweigh/underbite/dandruff. Observed Behavior – Do not like medical handling. Tries to bite. Evidence of Cruelty seen – None Evidence of Trauma seen -None Objective T = Not taken P = 140 bpm R = 40 bpm BCS 3/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam Mild tartar and dental staining: PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: some irritation on the scrotum MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, dandruff, dry skin. Some mild deramtitis around the eyes and pelvic area. CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Not performed Assessment underweight Dermatitis Behavior Irritation on the scrotum Plan Bathe dog with oatmeal shampoo once. Place muzzle. Apply ssd ointment on the prepuce once a day for a weeks Give more food for 4 days. In hold Prognosis: fair.
