06/18/16 18:45 Blue is a Catahoula, tan and white that is possibly 4 years old. Blue upon intake was playful & friendly. His body was loose and wiggly. He approach counselor and jumped up to give kisses. He also rolled over and accepted belly rubs. During intake he also allowed being collard, scanned and photographed. He walked into his kennel and ate food eagerly.

06/24/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Blue pulls a bit on the leash. He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Blue was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. He Blue did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Lick Hand Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Lick Hand Toy: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the toy. Playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs, Blue is very intense and highly sexually motivated. He will attempt to mount other dogs and remains persistent even after another dog corrects him or he is interrupted by a handler.
