11/08/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: A stand up hug was my hello from Blanca, and I’ve never had a more gentle greeting. So happy to be out and meet new staff, her tail wags as everyone gets a gentle hug. So sweet. We head outside where she uses the ‘facilities’ immediately so may be housetrained and we’re off to the park. Blanca pulls slightly on leash from time to time but is completely manageable, and watching her gently wagging tail as we walk is like watching ripples in water…..even, calm and easy. Her coat is a lush white with a hint of cream, her legs lanky and elegant…..she could be a cover model for Doggie Vogue! Blanca loves treats, loves toys and in addition to the ones I already had out, she stuck her head in my toy bag to see what other goodies I had in there. Smart girl! We snuggled and exchanged some kisses, Blanca gently kissing me as we sat on the bench. Soliciting play from both males and females in her first playgroup, she’ll offer appropriate correction if needed. She’s an awesome little girl in a big girl’s body looking for her happily ever after. Come meet her today. Another volunteer writes: Taking a walk with Blanca is like taking a walk with a celebrity. You need to allow time for every staff person and volunteer in proximity to stop and pet her and get a Blanca kiss! She gives the best kisses, soft, gentle and with her entire soul. So, not only is this girl runway model gorgeous, she’s kind, gentle, soft, sweet, sometimes silly, playful and just all around great. The one thing she needs most of all right now is YOU so don’t pass up the chance to meet her when you visit.
