08/15/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/15/16 13:29 Biscotti is a young male APBT mix. He was found outside by himself and brought to ACC by police who report that he’s friendly and affectionate. Biscotti has red skin in the pattern of a harness. Under his left elbow is a laceration that appears infected. He has bumps on his body and red lesions around his lower abdomen and genitals. Biscotti had a soft body, wagging tail, and open mouth while I pet him, scanned him (-), and collared him. While I worked at the computer, he attempted to hump my legs.
08/17/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I love Biscotti, sweet (but not too), crunchy (but not too), and great to have any day, any time. And then there’s our four legged Biscotti…..sweet, gentle, calm and great to have all day, all the time. Looking up at me with a sweet, and slightly comical “hangdog” face, he’s easily leashed, hops out of his kennel and out we go. Taking care of his ‘business’ is his first priority and with good leash manners we’re off to the park. I needed to take a few photos of an other dog so tethered Biscotti and he sat patiently watching me with the other dog. Good boy, Biscotti! Wagging his tail as I tell him what a good boy he is, I take some photos of him as well, and he’s the most adorable and compliant model. I love dogs who make my job easy! As other dogs of all sizes pass us he wags his tail at all and in his first group played puppy like with a female. Biscotti joined me on the park bench to hang out and watch some kids play ball, (I had to help him up on the bench, but shhhhhhh……I don’t want him to feel bad that he couldn’t hop up himself.) He gives kisses (so sweet), and does that head tilt thing that makes me swoon. When our time together was over Biscotti hopped right back into his kennel and onto his bed, giving me a tail wave goodbye as I told him one more time what a good boy he is. I promised him we’d find a new person to love him and for him to love back, so won’t you help my promise to him come true? Ask to meet him today.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Biscotti pull a bit on the leash. He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, jumpy. Biscotti was calm and relaxed during handling and easily engages in play, body is loose and wiggly, mouth open. He showed a low threshold for what appears to be sexual arousal and consistently tried to mount the Assessor at the end of the game but was not difficult to distract him. Biscotti took the toy away but had soft body language. Biscotti did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1.
