A volunteer writes: Bill Nye is a “science guy” and I’m not sure why our little 5 lb peanut is named after him. Perhaps because Bill is famous for saying, “Humor is everywhere, in that there’s irony in just about anything a human does” and our little guy is looking for the humor in his new situation. He’s itty bitty, with a little pink tongue that lolls out of his mouth, his eyes are cloudy, he probably doesn’t hear very well, but when he starts motoring along on leash – watch out! Those little legs can move! He does great on leash, and watching this little guy navigate a sidewalk is not to be missed. When we come up on a big dog he just stands there as if saying, ‘hey big guy, I’m down here!’ He loves to cuddle, snuggling close as I lift him in my arms. Bill is looking for a retirement home in which he can enjoy his golden years….he needs a bit of food to put some weight on his too thin frame, a soft bed and a loving person. He’s a gem, discover him for yourself today.
