01/30/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Biggie walks calmly on leash. He was not sociable, and was more interested in the surroundings than the handler. During the first part of the assessment Biggie was uncomfortable with handling trying to bite the assessor hand during the look. For safety reason the behavior team decided to skip the handling part of the assessment for safety reasons. During the resources Biggie was not interested in toys. According to the medical technician Biggie startled due to impaired vision, aggressive in cage and with lead, walks calmly and relaxes when spoken to but still lunges and thrashes when touched” The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home.
