Beagle Betty is with us as her owner became too incapacitated to take care of her pet. This middle aged gal who has been beautifully cared for is the poster image of the Good Girl, the family dog. Although a likely shaken up by her relinquishment, she bounced back quickly and does all the things we expect from a well brought up dog. She is welcoming, wags her tail, enjoys caresses, walks without hesitation, does her business outside her kennel(she is said to be very house trained) and meets properly other pooches in the street. She loves food, of course… Would you expect less from a Beagle? Although slightly chunky, she does jump for treats and even twirls… Betty came to us with lovely comments from her former owner…. Welcoming of strangers, gentle with children, free of any handling issues, very affectionate and well mannered. Indeed, she fits the description of a well balanced family dog… Beagle lovers…here is your chance to adopt a wonderful gal. Come and meet Betty soon at the Manhattan Care Center. She is a little gem.
