05/24/16 16:18 BASIC INFO Betty A1074969 is an 11 year old Yorkie/Maltese Mix. She is being surrendered to the shelter because the owner does not have time for her. Betty was a gift to the owner 11 years ago. Betty’s only health concern is that she is partially blind. SOCIALIZATION Betty is a little fearful, but friendly around strangers. She does not play much as she is partially blind. Betty has never lived with another animal. Betty has never bitten anyone. BEHAVIOR Betty does not have any behavior issues. She allows you to take away her food bowl, water bowl or toy away. She is not bothered if you awaken her. She allows you to bathe her. If an unfamiliar approaches the doorway or owner, she stays quiet. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Betty is best described as friendly, affectionate and playful. She has a low activity level. Betty has been kept mostly indoors. Betty sleeps inside of a plastic dog house. she uses wee-wee pads to go potty. Betty eats table food only. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Betty allowed all handling, collaring and photos.
