KNOWN HISTORY: None 1/23/17 Unaltered,Male,Stray SAFER ASSESSMENT: 1/24/17 Look: 2. Dog’s eyes are averted. His body posture is a bit tense; his tail is low and not moving. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, body tense, mouth closed. Tag:1. Follows at end of leash, body soft, bit distracted. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. Minimal interest, dog sniffs toy. Summary: Benny was a bit tense at the beginning his assessment, keeping his distance from the assessor. As the assessment progressed he warmed to the assessor, seeking out attention in a social manner at the end. DOG-DOG INTERACTION ASSESSMENT: Summary PLAYGROUP: When introduced off leash to other dogs in the care center, Benny is nervous, trembling, keeps to himself. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 1/23/17 During initial medical exam Benny snapped ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Benny so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment.
