Medical Summary scan positive 0A02310769 intact male S-Owner entered MACC with her 10 month old dog Benji that she purchased from a pet store. Benji was attacked by an unknown dog while being walked outside. He was bit on his jaw and his left ear and she didn’t receive the dogs’ owner information. She stated that the dog was a cream brindle Staffordshire pit-bull. Owner contacted the ASPCA PIC grant and received the grant. After speaking to her mother, she decided that it was best to surrender Benji. She stated that she won’t be able to care for him while he recovers and she had planned to surrender him before this incident. She was encouraged to take Benji to the hospital so that he could receive immediate treatment and once he was well she should return to MACC. She decided to surrender him anyway.
