Medical Summary male intact S/O-tetraparetic, QAR, pink mm, hydrated EENT-CAU, COU, no nasal d/c PLN-all wnl H/L-no m/a, clear and eup GI-negative oral, SNP, NMP MSI-BCS 3/5, not seen on walk but motor x 4, good haircoat Neuro-QAR, normal cranial nerves, tetraparetic with motor present x 4, unable to hold any weight up but able to stay sternal on own, no obvious pain on ROM of neck but likes to turn head to left, painful on palpation of lumbar region, normal tail and anal tone A-tetraparesis R/O spinal injury vs spinal fracture vs other P-2 view rad of spine-no obvious deviation of spine on VD view, only lateral view of thoracic and lumbar spine without obvious deviation dorsally or ventrally or spine placed IVC buprenorphine 0.3 mg/ml-0.3 ml IV Prednisolone sodium succinate 100 mg IV over 30 minutes (11 mg/kg dose) follow up with dex SP (4.6 mg IV) in 4-6 hours and every 12 hours keep in medical to assess neuro status hold on preventatives for today and reassess tomorrow
