Medical Summary Microchip: negative Sex: intact female Age: appx 8-10y Mentation: QAR, slight dehydration (prolonged turgor) Eyes: slight opacity Ears: clean Nose: no d/c Teeth: underbite with moderate to heavy staining and tartar If abnormal BCS: WNL Skin: irritated and dry due to matted haircoat Hair Coat: heavy matting–freed neck, trunk, and partial face areas but “boots” on feet remain Declawed: N/A, very overgrown nails embedded in “boot” of feet mats Any injuries: maggots clipped from haircoat but no injury seen, lameness on LHL but could be due to matting Behavior: not interested in engaing with handlers but was behaved for shave down, only growled when painful strangulation areas were touched Medication: N/A, preventatives given Not NPO’d for morning shave so vet can assess gait first
