Basic information:
Bella is a 6 yr. old rotti mix. Bella was surrendered due to no time. Client stated that she found Bella 2 months ago. Bella has never suffered any health issues or injuries while with the previous owner. Bella has been to the vet recently for a round of shots.
Socialization:
Around strangers Bella is friendly and playful. Bella has lived in a home with 4 children. Bella was super playful and affectionate with them. She has spent limited to no time with dogs or cats. The previous owner stated she is timid and alert around other animals.
Behavior:
Bella has never bitten anyone or animal. The owner stats that Bella is not bothered when some moves her food or treats while she is eating, when someone takes her toys away or when someone disturbs her while sleeping. Bella loves to be brushed and given bathes. Bella enjoys playing with the water. When an unfamiliar persona approaches the front door , she will growl however, once the door opens she greets them with a soft body.
For a new family to know:
The owner describes Bella as friendly, affectionate and playful with a very high activity level. Her favorite activity is to play fetch with his owner. In the home Bella tends to follow the owner around the house and is kept outdoor & indoors. Bella sleeps in the floor in the living room. Bella was fed soft and dry foods mix together , 2x a day. She is house trained and has never had an accident in the home. Bella knows the commands “sit “and “stay” and paw.
Behavior during intake:
Bella was relaxed and respectful upon intake. Bella allowed all handling. ( scanned negative).
Playgroup:
10/23: When introduced off leash to other dogs at the care center, Bella is nervous when approached by the male helper dog. She approaches and sniffs him when he is turned away, however lip curls when approached face to face. Her previous owner describes “She has spent limited to no time with dogs or cats. The previous owner stated she is timid and alert around other animals.”
