A volunteer writes: This little nub is what bully dreams are made of. A stocky little shortcake who LOVES people. Bella is basically a small block licking machine. She starts trying to lick me through the kennel before my hand even gets to her. Oh, what a darling! Her squishy little teddy bear face melts my heart. Apparently, it melts everyone else’s too because every person we pass gasps in delight as they giggle at what a cutie she is. Once outside she is curious about everything and wants to go go go. But it’s easy to get her attention. She’s definitely tuned into humans. No sooner do I crouch down then she’s trying to crawl onto my knees. She sticks her face in mine, pauses for a second, then kisses me all over. But, Bella! I’ve only known you 2 minutes! And 2 minutes is probably the time it’s going to take her to get adopted, so come down and meet this little dreamboat.
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
