A volunteer writes: Beautiful Bella – in any language she is just that! Playful, bouncy, affectionate, Bella is all about being a sweet snuggly puppy! Stranger? Oh, I don’t think so – let’s be friends shall we? Her tail never stops wagging, she makes friends where ever she goes, and because she’s a puppy everything is toy potential, even the leash from time to time as she loves to play tug. She’s easily persuaded to give it up, and it’s no biggie but she should be trained that her leash is not a toy. Bella does love to play tug and off leash in the yard we played. Bella thinks having a human to play with (versus playing by herself), is absolutely perfect as there’s nothing like a best friend with whom to share your fun. Greeting dogs in adjoining pens with a happy tail wag, Bella seems to enjoy everyone. Cuddles and kisses are next, and Bella is happily in my lap for a snuggle fest, both of us happy participating. She’s a fun, friendly puppy with a sweet but not overbearing puppy energy that is longing for a new friend or family with whom to play and cuddle. Ask to meet our beautiful Bella today.
BEHAVIOR:
When off leash with other dogs, Bella approaches and greets politely. She offers a few brief bows and engages in bouts of play.
Bella pulls a bit on the leash. She was calm and relaxed during handling and easily engages in play, body is loose and wiggly, mouth open. Bella took the toy away but had soft body language.
Bella did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an Average home.
