Medical Summary Scan : negative Sex: Spayed Approx 4-5yr S/O: BARH, clean EEN, dental disease 2/4. Grade 2 left sided systolic heart murmur. Normal BV sounds. Abdominal palpation WNL. BCS 6/9. Vaccination records in packet Very friendly, allowed full examination A: Heart murmur, dental diease P: Would recommend echocardiogram and dental cleaning in the next year. The echco will asses cadiac function and to what extent, if any, the murmur is affecting her heart’s ability to pump blood effectively. At this time she has no clinical evidence of cardic insufficiency and can live normally without treatment. The echo will also help determine her long-term prognosis as many dogs w/ murmurs have no issues until late in life. PROGNOSIS: GOOD
