PROFILE:
Basic information: Beijing is a 11 year old Shih Tzu female. She has no known health issues or injuries, and saw a vet about one year ago.
Socialization: Beijing is described as being friendly and outgoing with strangers, she will approach and let them pet her. She has lived with children and other dogs, and is respectful and relaxed with both of them. She plays gentle, and has not lived with cats before.
Behavior: Beijing has no bite history and isn’t bothered by loud noises. She has no resource guarding behaviors, and allows her owner to bathe and groom her, but she has not clipped her nails. Beijing likes to follow her owner around and be in the same room as her, and play with all kinds of toys
For a New Family to know: Beijing is house trained to go on grass, and is well behaved when left alone. Her owners have crate trained her, and she has been trained to walk off leash and stay near her owner. . She has been an indoor dog, and eats dry food.
Behavior during admission: Beijing was very friendly with counselors, loose wiggly body, and allowed for all handling
