01/09/17 17:10 Basic Information: Beaya is a poodle mix who was found as a stray and brought to ACC due to her health. Socialization: Around strangers Beaya is shy and doesn’t play. Beaya has not been around children, cats or other dogs while with her care taker so it is unknown how she will react to being around them. Behavior: Beaya has not bitten another person or animal while with her caretaker. Beaya will often use the bathroom indoors and isn’t bothered by loud sounds. Beaya’s previous caretaker did not attempt to touch her food/bowl while she was eating , brush her or trim her nails so it is unknown how she will react to those events. Beaya is friendly when someone takes a treat/toy away from her, disturbs her while she is sleeping, or gives her a bath. If an unfamiliar person approaches Beaya’s home or family she is friendly toward them. For a New Family to Know: Beaya is described as mellow with a low activity level. When at home Beaya will stay in a favorite spot and doesn’t play with toys . Beaya was fed wet food and is not house trained. Beaya was not left alone in a house or yard and was not crate trained. Beaya knows the command come and was taken on slow walks on a leash. Intake Behavior: Beaya was a little nervous around staff and would avoid being touched by staff. Beaya allowed staff to collar, scan for a microchip and take pictures with no signs or aggression.
