We cannot be certain if any other behavior is suppressed as a result of the shelter environment; a period of decompression is advised to aid in acclimating to a new home environment, force-free, reward based training is advised when introducing/exposing Bayli to new and unfamiliar situations. PLAYGROUP: Summary MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 11/12/16 During his initial medical exam Bayli appeared social and hyper. ENERGY LEVEL: IN-SHELTER OBSERVATIONS: It has been observed when walking Bayli on leash, she is able to ignore select passing dogs, while other dogs she has been observed to pull toward and bark. When in the nearby proximity of smaller animals or smaller dogs walking by, Bayli becomes tense, fixated, and pulls hard toward them. RECOMMENDATIONS: Experience (Suitable for an adopter with a previous amount of dog experience) Potential challenges: _X_On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration (During her stay at our care center, Bayli has, at times, displayed a low threshold for dog reactivity and frustration on leash: hard pulling, barking, lunging, high-pitched vocalization.)
