Barkley pulls a bit on the leash. He had a soft body language, neutral wagging tail, open mouth when he meets the assessor. Once the assessor tries to positioned him for the handling Barkley snarl showing his front teeth’s, with a stiff body language, his hair raised along his back. Due to the behavior demonstrated the behavior team decided to skip the handling part of the assessment for safety reasons. During the resources Barkley was not interested in toys. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs, Barkley greets and sniffs, and appears to be a bit sexually motivated.
