06/02/16 17:45 Bane was found wandering the streets by a good samaritan and was brought into our car center. During intake all handling was allowed from counselor presented a very loose body, and wagging tail. Counselor was able to scan (negative), collar and photograph.

Bane came into the shelter as a stray, so his past behaviors in of a home are unknown. Upon intake it was reported Bane was friendly and social he allowed all handling. During SAFER Bane came into the assessment room, loose and wiggly he was social towards the assessor. He allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Bane was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resource portion of the assessment Bane was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Bane appears to be sociable, and did not display any behavior concerns, so the department feels he can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted, with soft body, tail down and ears relaxed. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft ‘popping’ of the body, etc. Dog jumps on Assessor once play ends. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1 Dog gently pulls back. Toy 1: 1. Dog settles down close to chew, will relinquish toy to you. Dog-Dog:Bane was surrendered as a stray so his past behavior around dogs is unknown. When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Bane greets with a soft body. He is sexually motivated, continually mounting the female after handler interruption.
