MOST RECENT MEDICAL INFORMATION AND WEIGHT
11/06/2016 Exam Type BEHAVIORPART2 – Medical Rating is 1 – NORMAL , Behavior Rating is EXPNOCHILD, Weight 58.4 LBS.
IN SHELTER BEHAVIOR: 11/9/16: When handling Bam in the Care Center, he becomes easily over aroused by the environment and has the propensity to become mouthy, redirecting onto the handlers. His initially mouthyness is soft but increases in hardness when his arousal level increases. Due to safety concerns for staff and volunteers, Bam is not an appropriate candidate for the adoption room and placement should be sought as soon as possible. RECOMMENDATIONS: Experience _X_No children (under 13)(See known history/potential challenges) Potential challenges: _X_Mouthiness/Poor bite inhibition (Decreasing the force of the mouth as well as the frequency of mouthing, in this order is recommended by using force-free, reward based training as well to reinforce a soft appropriate mouth and redirect hard inappropriate mouthing onto toys.) _X_Resource guarding (We cannot be certain whether any guarding or possessive behavior may appear in a home environment, but we recommend adopters comfortable with safe management and modification of guarding behavior in case it does.)
