07/18/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Baltazar is a super sweet and happy guy. He reminds me so much of my last foster dog Silly. He is of very similar build and temperament: Very friendly, loves getting some rubs. He makes the cutest little piglet noise as we make the stroll around the block outside. He seems very house trained and walks quite nicely on the leash. Sometimes, he stops to sniff and snack on some doggie salad, a.k.a. grass. Come and get him quick, and start a healthy diet with him together.
Another volunteer writes: Balthazar is great on the leash but can be a little stubborn when he wants to stop and sniff something (which is basically all the time, because this guy likes to take his time and explore!). On our walk today, Balthazar spent about two good minutes sniffing a plant, and when I bent down to see what all the fuss was about, he turned around and walked right into my arms, nuzzling his little head up against me and wagging his tail. What a sweetheart! When we stopped for a break, he licked my face and sat in my lap for more pets (well, he tried his best– really only his front half fits in most laps, but I’m not going to tell him that, bless his heart). Balthazar seems to be housetrained, has been good with other dogs at the shelter, and cries when he goes back into his cage. Will you be the one to bring him home and give him the love he deserves? Please come and meet this sweet baby boy at the Brooklyn ACC today!
