Medical Summary 02/02/17 Microchip scan neg. MI, approx. 7 years O: Lethargic, ARH. mm=bright pink, moist, CRT<1 sec. Friendly, calm, allows all handling. ORAL: Fractured R max canine – tooth discolored gray. Remaining teeth WNL. EENT: OU – mucopurulent discharge, scleral injection. Mild nuclear sclerosis OU. Left pinna – curvilinear area of missing cartilage at base. H/L: HR=92. RR=20, Lungs clear, no coughing. ABD/UG: intact male, both testicles palpable. Abd palpation WNL. MS: R tarsus – joint thickened, non-pitting edema/swelling cranially. INTEG: Calluses bilateral elbows, hocks. A: Age est 7 years (may be older). Conjunctivits OU. Joint disease – DDx: arthritis, injury, infection, other. Lethargy – infectious disease, metabolic dz, injury, neoplasia, other. P: House in medical. Rimadyl 84 mg SQ administered. Continue Rimadyl 100 mg 1.5 PO q 24 hours starting tomorrow. Rx TAB OU BID x 7 days. Perform CBC/Chem for further analysis. Further therapy pending lab results. Waived from neuter surgery due to medical condition.
