Azzure is enchanting, almost magical, with his captivatingly gorgeous blue eyes. Initially a bit cautious, he warms up to his new found human friend when given time. And his manners prove to be exceptional as his blue eyes attract quite a bit of attention on our walk. He stays calm and collected as people stop to admire those eyes and spend a few moments chatting with us. Surrendered with Moma (A1005261) and Jacy (A1005263) because their family is moving, Azzure’s owner has only wonderful things to say about him. We’re told he has lived in harmony with other dogs and a cat, tries to play with dogs outside the family, and knows a number of commands. We’re also told that he is housetrained, and friendly with strangers and children. We’re all rooting for this slender pup with the magical eyes to find his place in the sun! So, come to the Care Center today and visit Azzure – the eyes will captivate your visual senses, but Azzure will capture your heart. Adopt Azzure today!

Azzure….Indeed, the color of his eyes matches the summer’s sky, a beautiful and luminous blue… Azzure is a head turner. No way to pass incognito during our stroll to the park….What a gorgeous and unusual dog…What breed is he? Azzure seems like a mix between a Husky and a Terrier with wiry hair. His ears are unique, curled inward, reminding me of an owl…Azzure is a little lost and shy. He pulls slightly on the leash and does his business without marking. His interest is not picked while nearing other dogs. He was briefly curious of the minnows chirping next to us.He can sit on command and takes treats very gently from my hand. He seems to like caresses and leans for petting against me. Azzure was found as a stray but he is known to us. Two years ago, he was relinquished into our care with two of his housemates as well as a few cats as his owner moved to a place not allowing pets.. His former master had only great comments to make about him. Azzure is one of a kind dog, rather timid, at least in our care, gentle, by history good with cats and dogs and who is looking for a new home to call his own. He is already neutered and could leave now as your new forever best friend…
